HEADSHOTS Every Actor Needs one... or two.

I am now at that point most actors go through, I am looking for a good headshot photographer. Considering I had an awkward headshot experience in high school and didn't really like the result I decided not to go thrrough the same experience. Ive been browsing around the internet (and those really cool audition waiting rooms where they have all that info sitting around by those tables) for a good photographer in NYC. Its almost a shame that I have a good amount of shots for a modeling portfolio but no good up to date headshots for my acting career. So I'm learning to pick and choose and find a photographer I can work well with. Wish me luck because headshots are a BIG DEAL!

I Have a Dream and Midsummer...

As the date of the 19th approaches I get more and more anxious. I have to reproduce Martin Luther King's Speech to the best of my ability on Monday I hope all goes well wish me luck... The day after that performance is the first rehearsal for Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream where I play Theseus. I am nervous and excited,(boy do have a lot of lines LOL) this production is going to be a big deal on this campus considering the amount of buzz it has generated.

Fashion Industry and Show Business...I am too far away

I'm Back up north, sitting in my dorm missing home already. I keep asking myself, "Why did I move so far from the city?" In high school I was so sure that I was going to get involved in the business of acting and modeling. Now, I am so close but so far away. I am seeking out agencies in both fields and I am finding that my access and chances are limited due to where I chose to get my education. I am 19 years old and I really feel as though. I could be signed by now but I am not because I am not home in NYC. I am missing out on so much. Instead of sitting an complaining I am going to make a decision... I will list the pros and cons of transferring to another school closer to or in NYC and see if they outweigh the outcomes of staying so far upstate I'm going to make a decision
